Soralink Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Soralink (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information in connection with our predictive machine health and analytics services. Our service involves analyzing telemetry data from machines to detect anomalies and prevent production challenges for our customers. Our offerings include hardware components (Sensors and Gateways) and a Software as a Service (SaaS) application for telemetry visualization and alerting.
This policy applies to our turn-key subscription service, our service for Value Added Partners (VAPs), our Self-Serve offering for end-customers, and visitors to our website.
1. Information We Collect
We collect several types of information to provide and improve our services:
Information You Provide Directly:
- Account and Contact Information: When you create an account, request a demo, or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, and job title.
- Service Configuration and Hierarchy Data: To deliver our service, we maintain a configuration that maps the physical installation of our devices. This includes information about the Company, Site, Room, Machine, and Component.
- Device and Installation Data: During setup, we collect device unique identifiers (e.g., via QR code), photos related to the physical installation, and associations between a device and a machine.
Information Collected Automatically:
- Telemetry Data: Our sensors automatically collect data about machine operating conditions, including vibration, temperature, and sound. This data is broadcast by sensors, collected by gateways, and transmitted to our SaaS application.
- Website Usage Data: When you visit our website, we may collect information about your device and how you interact with our site, such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit, using cookies and similar technologies.
Information from Other Sources:
- We may receive information about you from our partners, such as Value Added Partners (VAPs), during the commissioning of services.
2. How We Use Your Information
We do not sell your information. We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To Provide and Maintain Our Services: We use configuration and telemetry data to provide our core service of monitoring, analysis, and anomaly alerting, and to manage and support our different service models (Turn-Key, VAP, Self-Serve).
- To Improve Our Products: We may use aggregated and anonymized data for research and development to enhance and improve our hardware, software, and machine learning models.
- To Communicate with You: We use your contact information to send you service-related updates, security alerts, and support messages.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information under the following circumstances:
- With Value Added Partners (VAPs): For customers serviced by a VAP, we will share necessary information, including access to device telemetry streams and company configuration data, to enable the VAP to sell and commission services.
- For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights or property, or ensure the safety of our users or the public.
